My heart is sad...

Eternal Father, strong to save,
Whose arm hath bound the restless wave,
Who bidd’st the mighty ocean deep
It’s own appointed limits keep
Oh hear us when we cry to Thee
For those in peril on the sea.

Lord, guard and guide the men who fly
Through the great spaces of the sky.
Be with them always in the air,
In darkening storms or sunlight fair
Oh hear us when we lift our prayer
For those in peril in the air.

Thoughts and prayers going out to the friends and families of
USCG Crew 6017.

I was drawn to this post when I saw the USCG logo. My dad served in the Coast Guard for 22 years and retired a Master Chief. We lived in Port Angeles, WA for 5 years during his service. I had not heard about this crash. Thanks for sharing this although it is very sad. : (
