My Copic Marker Storage

Here are my babies in all their colorful glory!  I my copics!!!

The rack is from ARTIST SUPPLY SOURCE and was only $41.38 plus shipping.

I have a pdf file of the Ciao colors that I punched out with a 1/4" hole punch.  If you would like a copy of the file, you can find it on the I {HEART} COPICS group on Paper Craft Planet.  Markers and refills are now available at I {heart} Papers.

Today my friend, LISA, sent me a link for a Copic Marker Tote by Lisa Hetrick.  I might have to try to come up with one to carry this holder in.  I transport my makers to and from work (at the scrapbook store) with me.  A tote like this would be very handy to have!

And how perfect is this paper from Cosmo Cricket - Garden Variety???!!!!  IT HAS PEAS ON IT!!!  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink - Signature Greetings

Shirleys 2 Girls - Postcards from Paris

Just playing for fun today.

As I sit here coloring, I'm watching it snow... no rain... no snow... no rain... UGH!  Isn't it suppose to be spring?  Anyway, perfect excuse to sit and create all day.  This postcard image is a new one from S2G's Paris Collection.  I think it would be amazing to visit Paris someday... someday...

I sponged the card with distress inks.  The papers are from Kaisercraft - Devonshire Collection.  I made the flowers from the same paper.  There is also an old book page tucked in there too.

Pixie Dust Studio - Give Peas a Chance!!!! *giggle*

"I always eat my peas with honey;
I've done it all my life.
They do taste kind of funny but
It keeps them on my knife."

Anonymous

Ok, so I was on an embroidery roll today.  I love that I can combine two of my favorite things!!! I have fun with both.

This is a 'burpie' I did using one of the fabulous new Pixie Dust Studio PASS THE PEAS images.  Aren't they just the cutest?!  I have so many ideas for the rest of the images as well.

Our challenge this week for PDS was GREEN!  That goes just perfect with Peas, right?!

Shirleys 2 Girls Twisted Thursday

Another week... and another visit to Paris!

The inspiration...

Beautiful, isn't it?  I would love to visit Paris some day...  and if I were to go to Paris... I would need a tote bag!  *grin*

I dusted off my embroider machine for this one.  I used the colors found in the inspiration piece.  My image is... La Carte Postal.  I will have one more project using the other part of this image to post this afternoon.  :) Be sure to check out the Shirleys2Girls challenge blog and see what the rest of the design team has for  you!  It will be a beautiful journey thru Paris!

Lisa has some blog sweetness going on!!!!!

You had better check out Lisa's blog....

YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT!!!!!

GO LEAVE HER SOME LOVE!!!  *grin*

I {heart} Copics Color Challenge

I love color challenges.  They definitely challenge me.  I tend to go to my 'favorite' combinations but a color challenge makes me step out of that comfort box.  The challenge this week is to use BG15, B91 & Y21.  Ok, I can do that... so after I started my 3rd image I was finally pleased.  *grin*  I chose this darling image from Elisabeth Bell.

I am also enrolled in the Sponged Backgrounds class on My Creative Classroom, so I added the sponged color and used a nestabilites die to frame the image.  I think it give it just a lil something more.

Shirleys2Girls NEW RELEASE PARIS BLOG HOP

Join me here on Rue Dauphine for my part of this fabulous little Paris tour.
If you came here from Rue de Champs E’lsees with Gina then you are in the right place.

Can I just say how much I love this image?! This is Haute Couture. Isn't she stunning?
I colored her with copic markers (RV02, RV04, RV06). I added a lil blingy bling to her with the stardust pen. The rhinestones are from Kaisercraft and the ribbon is some from
my hairbow making stash. I used my bow-easy to make the bow (won't do bows without it now!!!) Now for your next stop on your tour, head over to the fabulous Jane on Rue Bonaparte for another fabulous project.  If you get lost along the way, head back over the the S2G Challenge Blog for your road map. Don’t forget to play along with us for our Twisted Thursday Challenge.  The TWIST is to use the word MERCI on your card/project.

Here is the GRAND PRIZE!
So be sure to leave your comments as you stroll thru Paris.

Isn't that a beautiful prize?!

GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY YOUR TIME IN PARIS

Happy Birthday Carlie Bug!

12 years ago today I met the most amazing lil person.  She weighed in at 9lbs 11ozs and was 24" tall... yep, my Bug was 2 feet tall at birth!  She had the most amazing black curly hair and beautiful skin.  It was definitely love at first sight.
Now, 12  years later, she is an amazing young woman.
I'm so proud to be her mom!!!

HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY, BUG!

***********************************************

Ok, so on with today's card and challenge.  Today is a sketch challenge over at The Digishack!

I used the Cupcake image.
Remember, that almost all of the images at The DigiShack are only $1!!!!!!
(unless otherwise noted)

This sketch was so fun.  The papers are misc. from out of my scrap box.  I did use one of the EK Success border punches, and the candy cane cuttlebug embossing folder.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Remember to play along with The DigiShack!

Karen's Doodles US Challenge #5 - Something borrowed, Something Blue...

Something old, something new
Something borrowed, something blue
And a silver sixpence in her shoe.

Our challenge this week for Karen's Doodles US Challenge is Something Borrowed, Something blue....
And this sketch...

I chose the cute "I Do" image from Karen.  Aren't they darling?

This fantastic paper is from Kaisercraft - Devonshire Collection.  It was absolutely perfect for this challenge.  The sentiment is from Verve Stamps - Fairy Tales.  Carlie and I have been making the flowers.  We went to the thrift store and bought a bunch of books (the thickest ones we could find). They were 5 for a $1.  We punch out different sizes using the Blossom Nesties.  Then we ink the edges and spray with Glimmer Mist (this one is Patina).  There are some stickles added to her flowers and necklace and his buttons.

Enjoy!!
