Digishack TDSC016 - Flower Challenge

The Digishack challenge this week was Flowers. I may have missed the target on this one, but I do have flowers on my card. *blush* I used the Lani Bride image. Isn't she lovely? Her dress and veil are faintly outlined and then I added some glitter with the Copic Atyou glitter pen. The paper is from Kaisercraft and the flowers are white Primas that I sprayed with Shimmerz Spritz.


I really love the Digishack images. They are clean, easy to print and soooooooo versatile. The Lani's are some of my favorites.

Victoria Case Stamps Challenge - Color Challenge

First off.. it is Victoria Case Challenge Thursday. The color challenge this week was dark blue, light blue and ivory. I chose to use the Cowgirl pin up. She is one of my favorite images (I think I say that about all of Victoria's images) *grin* I colored her with copic markers and then added the faux stitching with the Ranger opaque white gel pen. I sponged the edges with dark blue ink. The flowers are Prima (white pillar pack) that I sprayed with Shimmerz Spritz. The bling is from Kaisercraft. The lighter blue layer was cut with my nestabilities label. (Not sure which number it is.)

Owl Whimsy Blog Hop

If you arrived here from Billie's blog you are headed in the right direction. My card for you today uses the Heart Butterfly image. Simple and oh so sweet! I added Pearls for its body. This would also be a great image to paper piece or do multiple layers.

The flower is made from circles punched out with my nestabilites... spritzed with water, crumpled, and hit with the heat gun. They are fun and very addicting!!!! My paper is from Basic Grey - Euphoria. The sentiment is from Close to My Heart.

Finally feeling better and back to blogging...

I have been struggling with low iron and B levels... which leaves me extremely exhausted. I have just been bottomed out emotionally and physically. I get up, barely in time for work, and when I get home (at 2pm) I am ready for a good 2-3 hour nap. Then I am usually in bed by 8pm. I am hoping that my new vitamin regime will help. I have new stamps and images that I haven't even played with yet. *gasp*



So, here is my Victoria Case Stamps Challenge card. This week we were presented with a sketch. I used Kissing Dragon. I added some stickles to the dragon to give it a lil bling-bling. :)

Victoria Case Color Challenge

This week we were challenged with a color challenge. Dk. Pink - White - Orange. I love these colors together. My paper was my inspiration, it is from Kaisercraft.

The image is BunnyFly which is a free digistamp from Victoria Case. If you want BunnyFly, just email Victoria. There is stickles and crystal effects on the wings. They are shiny and sparkly.

This is one of the images from Sassy Studio's Teen Scene line. Meet CELL PHONE CINDY! I colored her with my Copic Markers. Added some highlights with a Ranger opaque white gel pen. I airbrushed the flowers to match her outfit and the paper (which is from Basic Grey - Lime Rickey). She reminds me of my oldest daughter.

I have a lil Patriotic tribute for you today. Isn't she too cute?!? She was fun to color too. My kids were laughing at her blue tongue, but what else happens when you eat blue ice cream! I used the cuttlebug folders to add some dimension to the card, without taking away from my image.

Victoria Case Stamps Challenge

I loved this one. It was a color challenge.. using RED BLACK KRAFT - three of my favorite colors.

I 'think' this image is Berry Fairy. I added some Crystal Effects to the berries to make them shine. And to the flower centers, I added some stickles. Oh yeah, and Angel Wings Shimmerz to her wings.
