Happy Wednesday!

I really need to upload some pictures, but sadly, I'm waiting for Gateway to send me a new power cord for my laptop. And, yep, that's where all my pictures of my projects are... on my laptop. So I've been borrowing Jeff's computer in the meantime.

So, since I can't post my projects I'll share some of my favorites...

Becky! You have to see what she has done with acrylic blocks! FANTABULOUS! I am totally falling in love with the Kitchen Sink Stamps she has been using. I love the Holly one and Snow flurry one.

Carol! Harley desk set - SO STINKIN' COOL!!! Carol is my friend (not so secret sistah) from the Cricut board. Her blog is great! And she's a lot of fun, too.

Lauren
! I am so inspired by Lauren's work. I adore her boxes and cards.

Eclectic Paperie! OMG, you have to see "My Friend Ronnie" I just love her expressions. She is so 'me'!

There are so many more, too. Hopefully my power cord will be here soon and I can post my own projects. Today I was watching Martha Stewart on DIY and she made the cutest lil finger puppets. I think my kids would love them. You can see them here.

OH MY GOSH!!! I WON I WON I WON!!!!

I never win anything! I have been refreshing pages for a couple hours now hoping to see my name show up on one of the Hanna Stamps Design Teams' blogs. AND IT DID!!! Judy Workman, picked my number! YAY! Her blog is great. I even commented on it the other day to Jeff when I saw it. "Rock is Dead... Long live Paper and Scissors" how classic is that???!!! Check it out!

Memory Purses

I made one of these last year for Jeff's mom with pictures of all the grandkids. She loves it. I need to make new inserts for her.

MEMORY PURSES

I really like the memory purses. The insert is 10" x 8". Lots of room to be creative. Also, the purse is nicely made.

Another option is Pursue Your Art.

Blog Candy & special projects!!

No not here. But there are some great give aways going on....

GinaK - Set of 36 Copic Markers *wowsers*!!!

The Hanna Stamps Design Team blogs
- A not-yet-released set of Hanna Sentiments. And they are so cute! You have a bunch of chances to win. Just visit the blogs of the design team members.

Becky has been taunting us with a project she is working on for Kitchen Sink Stamps. I cannot wait to see what she has been up to. Becky has posted some really cute box projects.

I have some new Hanna cards and projects I'll post this afternoon.

Some Thanksgiving Recipes

This is my mom’s recipe and it is soooooooooo good and even better the 2nd day!!!

7 LAYER FROZEN PEA SALAD!!!

Break up a medium head of lettuce in a large bowl. (Use a clear glass bowl to see the layers)

Top with the following:

½ c. thinly sliced green onions

1 c. thinly sliced celery

1 can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped

Break apart a package of frozen peas and sprinkle over the above.

Then spread 2 cups mayonnaise over the top.

Sprinkle with the following:

½ c. grated parmesan cheese

½ t. sugar

1 T. Seasoning salt (Salad Elegance)

¼ t. garlic powder

Cover and chill in refrigerator overnight or as long as 24 hours. Just before serving sprinkle with 3 hard cooked eggs, chopped; chopped crisp bacon; and 2 tomatoes cut into wedges and arranged on top.

To serve use a spoon and fork to lift out each serving so it includes some of all the layers.

Fleece hats!

I got busy sewing today. The kids wanted new hats. They picked their fleece and I sewed. I am also making some to sell - with matching scarves.

I have so much fleece, I figured it was a great way to use it up. I also make a joker style hat, pooh bear (with lil ears), or regular stocking type hat with pom pom. They are fun. I also do matching scarves.

I found new stamps to love!!!

Ok, so there are a bunch of new companies springing up out there. I recently discovered Queen Kat Designs. The stamps are so cute!! The QKD Monthly kits are too cute.

I also recently came across Rubber Stamp Chat. A great resource and message board for rubber stampers. Everyone has been so nice there, too. Check it out.

**later**

I played with my new Inkadinkado stamps again tonight. Here is a very simple card.

Inkadinkado compass and sentiment. SU cardstock, ink & brads.

Playing with Inkadinkado stamps!

I got some new stamps! *gotta love new rubbah* Here is my first creation. The wine glass has crystal effects on it for a 'glassy' look. It looks really cool in person.
