Whimsy Challenge #30 - Monochromatic

Here is my monochromatic card.  The piggy is colored with RV0000 and R0000.  I love these very pale colors.  The white paper is Neenah Solar White and the patterned paper is Basic Grey.  I inked the Cuttlebug folder prior to embossing the light sheet of cardstock.  The ribbon is from my stash and the bow was made with the Bow Easy.  I also added a small charm from my stash.

I hope you will check out the rest of the DT designs and will also join us for this challenge.

I love that I can go to my Dog Gone Stamps for masculine cards.
This is "Snowboarder".  It is hard to tell from the photo, but I added diamond glaze to his goggles.

New digital stamps from Victoria Case

It was release day!!!  That means new DIGIS!!  I love this new series.  Too stinking cute.
Here is a card I made using one of the Friends stamps.

I was having issues with blogger the last couple days and finally was able to upload some cards.  This is my card for the VCStamp Challenge.  This week our challenge was Blue-Grey-White.  It is a simple yet sassy card.

Whimsy Challenge - NOT A CARD

Our challenge this week was to make 'not a card'.  I decided to use the new Raccoons and make a shrinky dink ornament.  I stamped the image with stazon, colored on the opposite side with my copics and then hit it with the heat gun.  I cut the plastic with my nesties prior to heating/shrinking it.  I made the bow with my bow easy.  LOVE MY BOW EASY!!!!!!

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creations and also we'd love you to play along.

Easel Card Tutorial - so much fun!!!!

This is such a fun card to make. I’ve made them all different sizes.

A2 Easel Card Supplies:
4 ¼ x 11 cardstock for card base
Scored at 5 ½ and 2 ¾
Cardstock cut for layers
Stamped and colored image
Ribbon & Embellishments

1. Score card base (4 ¼ x 11 in. piece of cardstock) at 5 ½ and at 2 ¾ . (This should give you ½ and ½ again. So you can adjust that for any size card you would like.)

2. Add layers for card front and inside as you like. I do my layers decreasing by 1/8th inch each time.

3. Add image and embellishments. On the inside of card add a button (or two or three, or a brad or a bow) this will become your ‘stopper’ for your easel.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Victoria Case, sentiment is computer generated
Paper:  GP White, American Crafts solids, Basic Grey Eerie
Accessories:  Copic Markers, Copic Airbrush System, Nestabilities, Cuttlebug, Ribbon, Buttons, Scor-Pal

Catching up...

Finally have time to sit down and catch up.  My youngest has been home sick (just a cold).  First off...

They are 'fairy' cute and wonderful!

And this week's challenge for VC Stamp Challenges was to use the colors Forest Green, Cranberry & Ivory.

This is 'WINTER'.  She is colored with Copic Markers.  The papers are from Bo Bunny.  The ribbon is from my stash.  I tied the double bow with the Bow Easy.  The small flowers are from Prima and spritzed with Glimmer Mist.  I also used a Martha Stewart border punch for the scallops.

This is one of my favorite color combinations.  I hope you will join us this week.

Round n Round with Whimsy Stamps

Our Challenge this week was Round n Round.
I made this wall hanging using the Accessories Set from Whimsy Stamps.

The circles are cut with Nestabilities (circles and inverted scallops)
The ribbon is from my hairbow stash and I used my Bow Easy to tie the yellow bow.
