Stamp Something challenge

This week's theme was stamp something WINTER. Now, that I can do. And my new stamps from Whimsy were the perfect choice!

Dog Gone Stamps - 1926 Series (Twirl)

These new stamps from Dog Gone are so elegant. This is "Twirl". I paper pieced her skirt, added pearls to her blouse and layered her on Basic Grey Euphoria paper and SU paper. I colored her with Copics.

So much fun! I even dusted off my cricut for the flourish in the corner. I didn't have flowers that matched so I colored them with my Copic Markers and then gave them a coat of Shimmerz.

Dog Gone it!!! They did it again!!!

Dog Gone Stamps released new stamps today. They are quite special and have a great story behind them. The owner of DGS's mom did these quill pen drawings back in the 1920's. What an amazing tribute to an amazing artist!

I also got my new stamps in the mail today. Had to get them out and inked up right away. Here is the first card. He is SUSPICIOUS PUP. This card is for the Funky Fairys Challenge this week, too.

C4E Sunday Sketch Challenge #18

Here is my card for the Crafts 4 Eternity Sunday Sketch #8. The image is a digistamp from C4E. Colored with Copic markers. I added a lil sparkle to the bee's wings with the stardust pen. I also colored two bees and popped it off the page a lil bit. The sentiment is from StarvingArtistamps. I didn't have a flower that matched so I colored a white CTMH flower with my Copic Marker.

Dog Gone Stamps - Zen Frog

ohhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Isn't he great? I colored him with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I also added Shimmerz - Key Lime to make him glisten.

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #53

My very first cupcake!

Colored with copic markers. I added Shimmerz to the wrapper and the cherry. The frosting has glitter glaze on it to give it a more of a chunky look. The patterned paper is from American Crafts.
