I leave tomorrow afternoon to go back to Anchorage. I've had some fluid build up on one side and the Dr. needs to aspirate it. My BFF Lisa is going with me. I'm not real thrilled about having to go back. I wanted an uneventful surgery and recovery. But oh well, whatcha gonna do. Other than the fluid, things have gone really well. I'm taking my computer with me, so I will update on Monday afternoon. Please think good thoughts for me.
I'm hoping to go back to the fabulous little stamp store I found over there. I hope she has more Thomas Kinkade stamps in.
I hope everyone has had a great weekend and has a fabulous week.

You MUST check out Melanie's blog!!
Melanie is a designer/illustrator for Gina K. Designs. I love her "Just so Hippy" & "Just so Hoppy". Anyway, Melanie is doing a little pay it forward. How fun is that gonna be. So check it out! Make someone's day!
I haven't had time to get into the my stamp room and create. My surgery went really well and I'm recovering. We got home from Anchorage on Tuesday evening. We left 40 degrees and beautiful days behind in Anchorage and came home to snow, snow and more snow.
I did get to some shopping while we were off 'the rock'. I found the greatest little stamp store in Anchorage called "The Stamp Attic". I could have spent hours in there. The first day I went in I bought a beautiful Thomas Kinkade stamp. I also splurged and picked up some Copic Markers. Carlie and I went back over the weekend, too. She was doing a class on how to use the Copics. We did the cutest make n take tag with the markers. I WAS HOOKED AT THAT POINT! We even dyed the ribbon to match our lil 'chicks'. She explained how important paper quality was, how the key to blending is making sure the paper is saturated, and how to use the colorless blender, too. So I came home with 10 copics, a Thomas Kinkade stamp, an A'Muse oval (I've been wanting that forever), and 2 of the new Ranger white gel pens. Oh yeah, and the new Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.
And then there was Michaels! I got a bunch of the baubles, too. (they are like the Bella Baubles or Dew Drops clear acrylic pieces) Pink, Blue and clear! I think I'll be set for a few months now. *wink* But I have to share with MariJean, so maybe I'll need to stock back up soon, though.

March Hostess Club projects
I totally love the projects we did today!
The first project was an idea I saw on Barb Mulliken's blog. It is a Bamboo Skewer Book. I LOVE IT!!
We also did a 'Man card'. I am falling in love with On The Fly. I used the colors from the color challenge on Splitcoast... River Rock, Black, and Whisper White.
The next project was a very simple card... but elegant.
And this is our scrapbook page.

Hope you had a good weekend
My workshop went well yesterday. It was such a blast! I don't know why I didn't start doing these sooner! I will definitely be having more. I need to do more classes too. That is one of my goals for this year.
I haven't been feeling well this weekend. I slept most of today... snoozing on the couch. Came up to bed tonight about 8pm. I did my blog reading and just rested. I did find this link and great giveaway. What a fun site. GO CHECK IT OUT.
