Eventful Morning - Stitches for Madeline
My Madeline fell comping up the stairs from the basement. She put a huge gash in her chin and bit her tongue pretty good, too. We were able to get her right on at the Base Clinic and didn't have to drive to town when the roads are awful!
4 stitches and a bunch of steristrips later, Maddie is all put back together. She was quite the lil trooper.

OMG the poor thing. I hope she isnt suffering to bad. Make her a card. Or better yet email me your addy and I will send her a card

ReplyDeleteMy daughter fell (many years ago) off the steps up to the drinking fountain, at base daycare & bit her tongue clear through. They tried stitching it 3 times, but finally decided it couldn't be done. Anyway, she was a pretty sight--as is Madeline, but they all heal and then it is just a memory.
ReplyDeleteI just found these blogs and love them already--I am so addicted that I need at least 40 hr. days--6-8 to sleep, 10-12(minimum) to scrap or stamp, 4 to look at mags, 6 laundry & general housework(I'm slow),2 for walking therapy, 4 with family & friends,the rest for shopping & playing on computer.
